Denver! We’re playing our second-ever show as a band on Sept. 5 and would love to meet some local music people.
Hey Denver music people!
I’m Macie, the singer/songwriter and vocalist behind Macie June and The Reverie. We’re a four-piece indie pop/contemporary singer-songwriter band, and we’re headlining a show in at Goosetown Tavern BBQ on Saturday, September 5!
This is only our second show together as a band, which is very exciting. All four of us have been making music and trying to find our place in the Denver scene individually for years. I finally feel like I’ve found the right group of people to bring these songs to life, and I’d really love to get some new faces in the room.
Our sound is somewhere in the Sara Bareilles-meets-Lizzy McAlpine universe: intimate, lyric-driven songwriting with a full band, a little theatrical flair, and lots of harmonies. Basically, late-night indie pop for people with feelings. I'm a singer-songwriter who believes the best shows feel less like performances and more like conversations.
My sets are warm, witty, and inviting. I love making people laugh before breaking their hearts with a song. If you like lyrics that feel like late-night conversations, you'll feel right at home.
We’ll have two awesome opening acts joining us, Gabriella Sophia and Replacement Therapy, another newer Denver band!
Tickets are $15 in advance directly from us and go up to around $20 with fees at the door, so if you’d like to come, shoot me a message and I can get you an advance ticket.
If you’re into discovering newer local artists, singer-songwriter music, harmonies, or just want something to do on a Saturday night, we’d genuinely love to have you there. And if you’re involved in the Denver music scene yourself, come say hi! We’re hoping to meet more local musicians and become more involved in the community.
