Hi everyone!
I’m a new grad RN currently working in a term-specific full-time position, but I’m thinking about relocating to Vancouver and finding a permanent full-time position there.

I’m wondering if anyone has experience applying to VCH after finishing their new grad program from other health authorities. My term ends around February/March, so I wouldn’t be available to start until then. I’m worried that applying now might be too early since I’m currently employed full-time.

How far in advance should I start applying for a full time RN position at Vancouver Coastal Health?

I recently got a bike and am planning to start commuting to work at KGH. I’m excited about the idea, but I’m a bit concerned about bike theft.

For those who work at KGH (or regularly bike there), where do you usually lock up your bike? Are there any secure staff-only bike storage areas or recommended spots?

I’d appreciate any tips or experiences you can share. Thanks!
