Hey if you're looking to take over my lease at the flats at west village, 775/mo. Let me know. for the fall 2026-spring 2027 school year!
Assalamu Alaikum,
I hope you're all well. If you are waiting for transfer decisions, just trust in Allah that if it is good for you, He will grant it to you. If you feel stressed, read the Dua of Prophet Ibrahim (as), "Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel," consistently. By reciting this, you transfer all control to Allah (SWT), putting all of your trust in Him. Insha’Allah, Allah grants each one of you acceptance into the school that you want to attend!
Assalamu Alaikum Brothers & Sisters,
I hope you're all doing well! I am currently waiting on a college decision, and I wanted to talk about why we should all have full hope and Tawakkul (reliance) in our Dua. Alhamdulillah, I've been trying my best to stop having uncertainty and stress over the situation, and I wanted to share some tips for those of you waiting on something important so you can continue without a ton of stress.
1. Recite "Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel" (Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best Disposer of affairs): This is a great remedy for anxiety because you are transferring all power to Allah. If you leave everything in Allah’s hands, you will see Allah’s hand in everything.
2. Recite "Allahumma khairun fii kulli amrin antaziruh" (O Allah, grant me the best in every matter I am waiting for): Continue remembering Allah and asking Him. Even if this specific phrasing is a beautiful contemporary supplication, it aligns with the Sunnah of asking for Khayr (goodness) in all affairs.
3. Have Certainty (Yaqeen) that Allah is Capable of Everything: Instead of saying "it’s not going to work out," say, "By the will of Allah, it will work out." Allah split the sea for Musa (as) and made the fire cool for Ibrahim (as). By assuming your Dua won’t be answered, you are undermining how powerful Allah is.
4. Practice Sabr (Patience) with Allah’s Timing: If there is a designated date for what you are waiting for, don't rush it by saying "I wish it were here already" or "I hope that day doesn't come." Have Sabr and trust that it will come in due time.
If you guys have any advice for me to remove my stress or fear over these next two days while I'm waiting, I’d be happy to learn from you!
