Good place to car camp and see the stars in Utah?
Friends are coming to visit for a few days and want to go see the stars in one of the low light pollution areas around Utah. Was looking at Capitol Reef or Canyonlands but never went dispersed camping so could use some advice. We won't be able to load gear up and hike from a trailhead really because they won't have much gear so hoping to find a nice open and fairly isolated spot. Capitol Reef would be ideal because it's a bit closer but if Canyonlands has better spots for such a thing definitely open to more driving. Any other general advice greatly apprecieated!
