Can someone let me know if this looks like an oil leak?
2015 Honda Odyssey v6. Just had the alternator replaced two years ago recently the battery light has come on so I replaced the battery however, after driving for a short period of time the infotainment screen started to go in and out ABS lights coming on. Seems like the alternator is failing again I think this could be possible if it’s having oil leaked on it. I’ve heard that there’s a common leak right above the alternator on these engines. I took a couple pictures can anyone tell me if this looks like there’s the oil leak? Alternator should be covered under the mechanics warranty, but if it’s an oil leak, I’m afraid they will say it’s not covered and then I’ll have two repairs. This car is 192,000 miles transmission is slipping or maybe its just the common “shudder” but i am not confident that has a lot of life left. Trying to decide if I should just forget about it and buy a new car or fight for a covered alternator repair and keep driving. Thanks!
