Preparing to fish lake Erie in the Sandusky area.

I have 0 idea what to bring. I've got a few ultralights and some jigs, grubs, topwaters etc. Have urchin rigs and senkos for bass but Im ultimately more confortable using cut bait and chicken liver for bottom fishing.

How is the catfish population? Which specific species are there? I don't mind jigging all day for a few crappie or smallmouth. I just want my best chance at catching whatever keeper to throw on the camp stove.

1k upvotes and I'll eat it on camera.

What we have here is one prim and ripe scorpion pepper from a very large and evil looking plant.

My buddy and I both need to train up for a local pepper eating contest and I am honestly scared to start working with these and reapers so here we are.

In case anyone was wondering how starting in hydroponics/Aerogarden would go.

This batch is 3 Texas Bird chilies across the back and 3 Ghosts across the front. (Middle one being a little stunted from trying to jump out of its medium)

The big change that really got them going was the addition of a $6 amazon fish tank heater. I was getting *okay* results before but since the heater they start to get bushy at 2-3"

I tried 3 starts of Sweet Banana without the heater and they all failed. I'm at like 60% germination in the non-heated unit and around 95% in the heated one.

Still had every Warthog seed fail though, but I hear that's not uncommon. Anyone got Warthog tips?
