Pain midsole with Puma Velocity 4

Hi everyone.

I recently purchased Puma Velocity 4 to replace my Adidas Evo SL due to high wear (more than 500km).

In combination with these shoes, I am using Asics Novablast 5.

This week, I am trying the Puma Velocity (2 runs, 10 km each), and I feel pain only on my right foot, focused on the midsole/external part (circled area).

I searched online, and it seems that these shoes are very narrow, more so than the two pairs I am currently using. Could this be the problem?

Has anyone else had the same issue and solved it, perhaps after a few runs with the shoes?

I have no problems like this with Novablast 5 and Evo SL.
