Herceptin only?

Hi - wondering if anyone out there has had herceptin only treatment for a HeR2+ tumor rather than getting it with chemo.

I have a very small (1.5mm) Er- Pr- HER2+ tumor (node negative) and docs seem disinclined to do chemo but I am still worried and know that some people have done herceptin only and I wonder if that might be an option for me. it seems like it’s cutting edge to try this so wanted to get some real life experiences if I can.

if this is you can you let me know why your doc prescribed it and how far out you are from treatment? thank you!!!

Newly Diagnosed T1a, ER- PR - HER2+, no nodes

Hi, new on this journey here. Originally was told I had DCIS high grade but when they took it out they found it was invasive T1 tumor, but only 1.5mm. At first I thought this was not too bad, but the type was ER-, PR-, and HER 2 +. Now I am being told so many different things about how this will be treated. My surgeon said they don't do chemo for anything under 5mm; another doctor I know said with that type of cancer, if it is invasive, and because I am 40, I need chemo and herceptin. Do any of you have any experience with this kind of very small T1a cancer? I am worried because I know the type is aggressive, and yet it's so small I am not sure chemo makes sense (and obviously will probably suck). Would love to hear your stories if this is you!
