R and R Studio Help

Hi everyone,
I’m really hoping someone can help because I’ve been trying to get this working for the past 4 hours with no luck.
I have a Hi everyone,
I’m really hoping someone can help because I’ve been trying to get this working for the past 4 hours with no luck.
I have a 2020 MacBook Pro M1 (Apple Silicon) running macOS Tahoe 26.5.2.

I’ve installed:
R 4.6.1 (arm64 package for Apple Silicon)
Rosetta 2
XQuartz

I also downloaded RStudio (I previously had it working on macOS Monterey before updating my Mac).
The problem is that whenever I try to start RStudio, I just get an error and it won’t open properly. I’ve followed the installation instructions exactly, but I honestly have no idea what I’m doing. I do most of my uni work on paper because I’m not very confident with computers, and I really need R and RStudio for university.
Has anyone had this issue or knows how to fix it? I’d really appreciate any help. Thank you so much!

Hey guys !

I got a stocked fish tank as a rescue about 5ish days ago.

However the other boy guppies that came has signs of fin rot so i’m treating them for that :)

I’m in a group on facebook trying to re home her because i don’t want her to be breeding 24/7 and i can’t separate her at the moment. Someone commented check for tapeworms and now i am extremely stressed, im VERY new to guppies and i do not want to re home her if she has worms !

she has no white stringy poop, she plays in the bubbles and always comes and greets me when i’m near the glass, she is not sluggish at all. Eats well but i’ve read that doesn’t mean a lot.

Thank you so much for your help

PS my parameters are all good and my tank is planted.

Hey Everyone!

Yesterday i was given a cycled tank that’s been up for about 6 months with guppies, corrydorras and some neons!

How ever i have noticed on one of the guppies is a thin line hanging out its tummy. I’m not familiar with guppies yet but im doing so much research and i am wondering if it is a worm and getting a little stressed! I was able to take about 3/4 of the original tank water with me and added new treated water !

The water parameters are really good and no other fish in the tank is effected , the guppy with the string is moving around as normal and socialising with the other guppies

I’m just hoping someone with a little bit more experience might be able to help me so i can treat the fish correctly and give him the best life possible

I don’t know the person who gave me the tank it was kind of friend of a friend who wanted to rehome the fish and tank

Thank you so much
