I don’t understand why when you help someone as best as you can but aren’t satisfied with your answer they ask for a manager.

A lady asked me “Do you have shredded lettuce in a big bag?” I told her where it was, pointed to where it would be located (we weren’t that far from it) and told her that it would be at the bottom. She then asked if I could go over and show her I told her “I’m sorry I’m timed I can’t do that” and then she asked for my manager. Ma’am I’m not going to get my manager because YOURE too lazy to walk over, look down and see the shredded lettuce in a bigger bag.

So I want to leave early (I’m not feeling well and my store is practically dead) and it’s a key date. I have no ppto to cover it would I still get a full two points or a half point?

So basically the title is self explanatory. I usually love helping customers, I usually wait for them to finish what they need to do, I usually talk to them casually if I can, I’ll look things up for them if needed but now I cannot deal with the entitlement.

I started just walking down and not moving over for customers unless they aren’t moving either. I stopped looking things up and send people to the general direction. I’ve stopped doing my best to make customers happy when I get the short end of the stick.

In all honesty it’s taking a hit to my pride because I really did not want to be that miserable worker that loathes customer interaction but I’m honestly going to start having to.
