Trouble differentiating dreams from real life.

As the title says, for the last maybe 2 months or so, I find myself apparently having dreams I feel as real. When I wake up I genuinely can not remember if that is something that happened to me the night/day before or if it was a dream. As you can imagine that is very scary for me. Ill have a crazy dream about people that I actually know, some/alot of times its a really awkward situation, and when I wake up I cant figure out if that situation really happened or not. When I see them later on in the day/week, I figure if that really happened they would say something to me about it right? They don't, so that leads me to believe its my dreams? Along with that I deal with a lot of sleep paralysis. And I know that is because I wake up suddenly from REM sleep. (That's terrifying also btw)

I just wanted to ask if this happens to anyone else. It's to the point where its genuinely scary and I cant really tell dreams from reality anymore alot of nights :( Thank you all in advance if you made it this far ❤️
