C-section scar defect with fluid
I recently had a pelvic ultrasound for an unrelated reason and it was discovered that I have a c-section scar defect with fluid. My OB doesn’t seem concerned, but I’ve seen many posts on here about this interfering with fertility. I’m meeting with my RE next month to discuss these findings and what she’d recommend, but I’m curious to hear what others experienced if this was found -
What tests did you have to do for them to diagnose it? My understanding is that my ultrasound isn’t enough because they didn’t actually measure the thickness of the uterine wall.
Did your RE recommend any intervention? If not, was your FET still successful? Any effect on pregnancy?
Did you notice any symptoms outside of fertility? I’d been having pretty severe cramping and monthly spotting but I thought it was just my body trying to get my period back (I’m nursing still, including several times overnight), but now I’m wondering if it could be related?
