Have you ever experienced being teased or made fun of whenever you’re initiating a conversation with someone. Some instances where you might say something and another person responds back by repeating what you just said in a joking tone. Sometimes at work some of my coworkers would repeat things I have said and tease me as if I am alien or something. There is another coworker who also is on the spectrum and you could clearly tell that he has autism. Some of my coworkers would ask him to say something stupid just to laugh at him. It just pisses me off from time to time. I’m just tired of not understanding social cues and how neurotypical people see things differently than us. I don’t know if it’s just me but perhaps I take things too seriously and think in a very analytical way but something I feel like sharing with anyone that might have experienced something like that.
