I’ve been interviewing with a medium sized firm and recently received a job offer. I originally interviewed for an Associate role, but they decided to bring me on as a Senior Associate.

The offer came in at the top of the Associate comp range they had previously given me. Since the title is now Senior Associate, I’m wondering whether it would be reasonable to negotiate higher, assuming the responsibilities are also higher.

I already asked for clarification on the difference between the Associate and Senior Associate roles, but I haven’t received a response yet.

How would you navigate this? This is my first time moving companies, so I’m trying to handle it professionally and not overplay my hand.

Would really appreciate any advice. TIA!

I work in consulting and was looking to upgrade the briefcase I bring to client meetings with a nice leather one. I was comparing the Counselor vs the Folder Business Bag (not sure if there are better options from Bleu de Chauffe).

Anyone have any insight into which is the better option?Looking to spend around $700 max if anyone has any other suggestions. TIA!

Hi all,

I’m looking to move to Atlanta from out of state for work in about a month or so. I’ll be working a bit outside of the city, so I’ve narrowed my search down to Buckhead and Brookhaven.

I’m in my mid 20s and don’t know anyone in the city yet, so I’m leaning toward Buckhead since it seems like there are a lot of young working professionals there. I love to work out and go on walks with my dog, so somewhere safe, pet friendly, walkable, and ideally with good security would be great.

My budget is around $2,000 for a 1BR after fees, and I’ve been looking at a few places:

  1. Hanover Buckhead Village

  2. The Gentry

  3. 99 Paces

  4. Camden Paces

  5. Cortland at Buckhead Village

If anyone has apartment recommendations or thoughts on these buildings, as well as Buckhead vs. Brookhaven I’d really appreciate it. Definitely interested in apartments where I can meet people my age organically!

Thanks in advance!

Currently have a scorched bayonet (it’s shit, i know) and was looking to upgrade to either a vanilla talon or TT bayonet.

Pretty stuck because on one hand I love the tiger tooth skin but at the same time I think the talon animations are awesome. What do we think?
