Bullethole second steps pistol training?

Anybody here has any input or opinion regarding the quality of the training or if it’s even worth it?

I have shot probably over 300 rounds with my pistol, no red dot and last 100 rounds I shot targets resembling the FBI Q and probably got 75 within the target.

I feel my shots tend to go low and left, and yes I know I have to practice dry firing but I would appreciate someone correcting me or giving me tips while Im actually firing.

Reality of buying online money wise

So many offers online from different websites offering guns 2-300 less than what they are sold across gun stores jn nj (prices for nj still need to add tax and nics)

Ive seen a lot of offers at even 50% off, but what is the reality once you add FFL transfer fee and maybe magazine modifications?

Seems like there is a huge difference in prices from actual gun-shops in nj and some people here claiming they are ffls.

Sight upgrade, holster and ccw question

To avoid making multiple posts..

Want to upgrade the sights on my M&P Shield Plus, got played and bought one not optic ready and dont want to spend money on a new slide and cant/dont want to buy another gun right now, any recommendations?

Secondly, for the ccw qual does the magazine holster need to be part of my gun holster or can it be a separate one?

Lastly, want to do my qualification for ccw, I see a range of options, apparently one person does it around $65, other places around $125-200 but some require you to take other courses before? Whats the best no bullshit option I could do?

Thanks to everyone!

Louisiana CCW? Reciprocated by PA?

I will probably spend a couple of months in Louisiana for work and even though I dont have a ccw from NJ just yet, its my understanding since LA is constitutional carry I can still carry there.. also read its good to still get a non resident ccw there that allows you to carry in prohibited places.. any input?

Also, if PA reciprocates LA CCW, that means I can carry when Im in PA even though I still dont have the nj and therefore a PA ccw?

Appreciate any inputs!

Range protection and ammo shipping

Two questions.

If i bring my own ear protection to a range, do they have to be over the ear muffs, or do plugs work/are acceptable?

Second, if im staying with family for a couple of days, can I ship some ammo to their house or does it have to be shipped strictly to the address on my FID?

First pistol, where to get ammo?

Managed to buy my first pistol today, S& M&P Shield Plus, wondering best place to get ammo and the best one to get (that doesn’t brake the bank).

Don’t know if theres a brand that would be nice to only use in the range and another one to actually have on the gun.

Field tech or Engineer Tech, next path?

I have a BS in Civil Engineering, very little experience, have been a Field/Engineering tech for the past 4-5 months, I feel like I could do so much more…
What is the next best path for me, looking to learn and also make as much money as possible obviously!

Why purchase permits take so long?

I need to understand the logic behind the time to approve a purchase permit. You already have an FID card, it should be a 72hr max wait time.

S&W SD9 2.0 or other “budget” pistols

Hello,

Im looking to buy my first pistol, Ive had my FID for a while, just applied for a purchase permit, what do you guys think of the SD9 2.0? I see it online for under $300.

Unused Purchase Permit, already have my FID

Hello,

On 2022 I obtained my FID card and applied for a handgun purchase permit, due to changes in priorities I wasn’t able to spend the money to buy a handgun. It is my understanding that my permit would be automatically renewed if I did not use it, any way to check on that?
