Looking for advice on how to modify a walk-through gate into a sliding gate.
I just replaced my 30-year-old, pressure-treated deck with Trex. The installed posts are Trex Enhanced 4" x 48". I purchased 3' x 48" New Haven, walk-through gate, which I want to modify into a sliding gate because this is a very small deck (8' x 16') and the 4' gate would essentially waste a lot of "prime real estate".
If anyone has successfully done this, I would be very grateful to know how you overcame this challenge.
BTW the new deck isn't completed. I'm still waiting for the color-match screws to complete the project. The gate is shown on the deck, leaning up against the rail on the front-right side
