Rolex Day Date 19238 President - Greening Crown Advice

Recently noticed some green/blue buildup around the crown area on my Rolex Day-Date 18238 President. Crown is also feeling a bit sticky when screwing in/out.

I’m assuming this is corrosion/debris/moisture buildup around the crown tube or gasket area, but wanted opinions from people more experienced with vintage 5-digit Day-Dates.

Main concern is service route:

Rolex service center obviously gives the service card/cert which helps value/liquidity

BUT I really do not want original parts swapped unnecessarily (dial/hands/crown/bracelet polish/etc.)

For those who have dealt with this:

Is this something Rolex would likely insist on replacing parts for?

Better to go trusted independent/vintage Rolex specialist instead?

Is this considered urgent from a water resistance standpoint?

Any safe temporary cleaning recommendations before service?

Watch is otherwise running well.

Appreciate any advice from other vintage DD owners!
