Has anything like this ever been produced by Rolex?
Sorry about using ai for the image but I’m not that good with words so idk how to convey the image. I guess it’s just a red dial datejust with rose gold casing and bracelet

I’ve got an Omega Seamaster and IWC Portugieser. My wife has a two tone DJ MOP Diamond dial. I’ve never bought a Rolex before but our 3 watches came from the same AD.
Looking ahead to my 40th I was considering this watch. I’ve only seen it in person in Schipol Airport in Amsterdam.
I live in Ireland, is this a possible cop and any idea on the wait time? I’d be okay with no diamonds but want champagne dial.
Hi guys,
I’m pretty sure my watch has been stolen, and I’ve already reported it to the police. I’m hoping there’s still a chance of getting it back one day, but I’m a bit unsure about how Rolex actually handles these situations.
From what I’ve read, the process seems inconsistent. In some cases, a flagged watch is simply denied service and returned to whoever brought it in, while in other cases Rolex withholds the watch until ownership is verified. It also sounds like having an active police report can make a big difference.
I’m wondering if there’s anything else I can do to strengthen the chances of recovering it. The watch was originally a gift, so it isn’t registered in my name. Would it help if the original owner provided a signed statement confirming that it was gifted to me?
If anyone has experience with Rolex’s procedure for stolen or lost watches, I’d really appreciate any insight. Success stories are also very welcome right now — I could use a little hope. Thanks!
I’m actually considering selling my white Datejust 36 and getting a Land-Dweller 36 instead. I currently also have a Datejust 36 Mint in my collection with a smooth bezel. What do you guys think?
Very disappointing. Better start checking your land-dweller.
As an owner of 2 Submariners (a vintage 1680 and a new Starbucks), I didn’t quite understand the hype of the GMT. I was pleasantly surprised to be offered the Batgirl at MSRP today and I must say, I get the hype now. Super comfortable on the Jubilee and I really like the GMT complication, and the jumping hour hand.
Over the past two years, my collection has evolved quite a bit. It’s still heavily Rolex and Tudor oriented, but recently I’ve started developing a stronger interest in independents and other brands as well.
My dream piece is the 5712R, and realistically I could see myself selling a few pieces from the collection in the future to make that happen.
Would love to hear your thoughts. If this were your collection, what would you change? Feel free to be completely honest.
I just got this new to me 1601 DJ. I walked into my city’s AD, and a lady behind one of the display cases greeted me and asked how she could help.
I said i simply would like to see if I could pay to have the wrist adjusted on this to be tighter? She puts a glove on and says may I have a look?
I hand the watch over, and she gives me a dirty look and says you want us to size your fake Rolex? I’m like what? She then calls over their Rolex expert and is like “he wants us to size this fake Rolex for him” the man had it in his hand for barely a second and was like this is real, it’s just an old piece what are you saying? To her
She starts apologizing. Saying she doesn’t know anything about older Rolexes. I’m a young dude. and i wasn’t dressed the best. And it’s a $4500 polished refurbished Dj. But still. I feel so disrespected. If you don’t know anything about Rolex’s why are you legit checking potential clients to their faces? Especially with other people around who can hear everything and clearly making me embarrassed? I get you won’t service fake pieces but leave that to the experts.
This is maybe the most “respected Jewerly store” in my city.
I don’t want her in trouble but i don’t want dudes like me left feeling stupid just requesting a simple service from an AD.
(reposting with a proper title)
in Zurich. Fell in love, but don’t regret not buying it. Was so lovely to try on though 🥰
cannot believe how much these have appreciated.
Jubilee and size feel perfect for my wrist size. Been using a Starbucks for a daily, it’s going to be interesting the rotation between this two.
We got a new Rolex AD in town after the last one closed roughly 6 years ago. Just found out last week, so I called and made an appointment. One of my Rolex’s was in need of servicing, since I dropped it and it stopped working. I figured bringing it to them would be a good starting point to building a relationship. Talked to the girl for a bit. She asked which models I was interested in and sort of started me a “profile”. After I left the store and got into my car, I got a call from the sales person that they have one of the watches that I wanted, that the manager agreed to allow her to sell to me. Was in shock.
I think at this point the watch is worth more than the car lol
Hi there fellow Reddit crown people,
I have been saving for almost a year now. And I am finally ready to make my first ever Rolex purchase. Because of its appereance i feel heavily drawn towards the Datejust 41mm with fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet.
I have been on the list at the local AD for a Green DJ41 with fluted bezel. For 8 months now
But I am loosing my shit and I am too eager to wait for the call. As the SA at the AD said 2-3 years for this configuration.
Now to the point.
I’ve been browsing the GD market where I live. And came across both the Rhodium dial DJ, and the Roman numerals white dial DJ.
If you where to buy your first Rolex, which would you concider of the two? And why? I know the pros and cons of the different dials but I simply cannot decide which to go for.
I am not going to buy the Green dial on Grey as I think the price is way too high compared to the other versions i like cost
I know this questions gets asked all the time. First two pics are 41, second two pics are 36. Thanks!
