These are three games which are really good, i dont have any hate against any game, but the fanbase of hollow knight is so dumb that they can say crazy shit like Hollow knight > Elden ring, we understand that everyone has different taste but you cant just play one game all your life and say things like "MY GAME IS BETTER THAN YOURS AND I HAVE VERY NICHE CHOICES".
**Foreword:** As a huge Subnautica fan, I don't mean to complain or discredit anyone as I believe in artistic expression and I really look forward to playing Subnautica 2. This is all fictional work so there's always room for error due to inaccuracy or unrealistic implementations. I am not a marine engineer so I won't be able to speculate about complex design flaws and that's excusable. The purpose of this post is to not discourage the devs but this is something I wanted to get off my chest for some time and I hope no one takes this too deeply (as I do).
**Hot take:** Vehicular design flaws also existed in the first Subnautica but the Tadpole seems to have a lot of those and it's more obvious.
For something that's built for exploration, the exposed propeller is the most obvious flaw. It can get jammed from objects like Creep vines, and not safe for marine life.
Handles for the divers is an excellent concept but on the Tadpole the passengers are going to be a bit close to the exposed propeller. So it would have made more sense if the propeller was not exposed.
The modular fins have a significant gap from the body of the Tadpole which looks like it would collect a lot of Creep vines or something similar. Although this is to be used situationally, I think this is counter intuitive when there's a need to escape dangerous situations. But I do like the concept of going airborne temporarily like a flying fish does to escape predators. Modular wings seem to act like a stabilizer to prevent rolling but I have a feeling this could have been achieved with more compact thrusters. But then again that wouldn't be energy efficient.
**Conclusion(?):** I think the concept is great but I couldn't help but notice some obvious design flaws. At the end of the day this is all fictional, I just wanted to get it off my chest, and I am going to sink some serious hours into the Subnautica 2.
