The day your father dies, everything changes.
26M | Life changes when your father dies.
One day you're just a son. The next, you're the man of the house.
I'm 26, an introvert, and the only son of my widowed mom. Somewhere along the way, responsibilities replaced innocence, and life became quieter than I ever expected.
Maybe that's why I find myself appreciating conversations with women, especially moms or older women. There's a warmth, wisdom, and comfort in those conversations that's hard to explain.
Sometimes all it takes is one conversation with the right person to make life feel a little less heavy. Maybe this is one of those moments. Good conversations are rare, and I think they're worth taking a chance on.
