[Question] How can I restore a SoundTouch 10 backup created during setup?
Hi,
I think I may have soft-bricked my Bose SoundTouch 10 while experimenting with OpenCloudTouch / SSH access.
Here ist the GitHub Code https://github.com/scheilch/opencloudtouch
Before that happened, I created a full backup onto a USB stick during the setup process.
Now the speaker no longer boots correctly, and even a factory reset does not recover it.
My question is:
Is there any way to restore/reflash the backup that was previously created on the USB stick?
I assumed there must be some recovery or restore process for these backup files, but I cannot find any documentation about how to actually re-import them onto the device.
Does anyone know:
how the backup restore process works
whether it can be triggered via USB
or if UART/serial recovery is required?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
