I was born in 1983 to Polish parents abroad. They both had Polish citizenship at the time and I was added as a child to my father’s Polish passport in 1989.

I sent all of my documentation in through the Polish consulate in LA earlier this year and am now waiting to hear back from them. I assume my case is pretty straight forward and I don’t anticipate any problems.

I have kids and am wondering if I should also start the process for them now or if I should wait until my case has been confirmed?
