I've been a chronic nail biter for as long as I can remember. One of my front teeth (right tooth, left in photos) has progressively been getting more pushed back and behind the other and I had no idea why for the longest time. I recently figured out it's likely because I put so much pressure on that specific tooth when I bite my nails.

Again my apologies for the weird pics. If I wanted to correct it I would need to do invisalign/braces...anyway this is just to vent/spread awareness about this because this isn't something I had considered as a consequence of nail biting before. It's just cosmetic for now but just another reason I really need to quit somehow because I really don't want it to get worse...its so hard though 😔

edit to add: Just like the worry you have with a child that sucks their thumb, nail biting can cause front teeth to move.

I was at Fairhaven Park smoking really late at night last May-ish, it must have been 11 or 12 at night so very dark. Suddenly out of nowhere a massive, proper firework went up in the air maybe 50 feet away from me, and a bunch of young guys jumped into a car and drove away. I didn't see them at all until after the firework went up. They also probably didn't see me because I was sitting in the dark in a corner of the park, but we were very close to eachother, and the sudden firework and it being so close to me scared the shit out of me. Over the next few minutes I heard more booms getting further and further away.

Anyway this leads me to believe most of the random fireworks are just dumbass guys driving around to different parks to set off fireworks at night and be a nuisance. Typical college (?? hopefully highschool) dude activities I guess lol

Also Im not trying to be a snitch or a killjoy, I just see people asking about the fireworks so often and this is probably usually the answer
