I'm sure this has come up before by others (probably many times), but I do not understand tipping at food trucks.

Does anyone have a reason WHY I should tip at them? Can you justify the default 20% tip on card purchases (which one has to intentionally go to "other" and type in zero)?

Nearly EVERY business in town that my wife blesses as “the best” at what they do ends up boarding up the windows and going out of business.

Which is why I call upon you fine folks to help me break this nasty curse when I mention Raven Bakery on Prospect. She thinks their signature scone is a banger, the best in town. The ginger bread/cake is a punch in the face for the ginger lovers, and the bread is on point.

Please help me break the curse. I can’t take another shut down of a great spot.

It was nice knowing you, but a 35-minute wait for a burger and a side of fries when the restaurant is dead is completely unacceptable. And the fries sucked.

So I believe I’m being scammed. Parked in a lot to go shopping, I’ll admit not between the lines. Was supposed to be a 2 minute in and out. There was multiple empty spots, but when I came back out to my car, someone had driven their car into mine. Both driver doors were touching each other. Called the police to report and then the owner comes out of another store, acting “surprised” that I hit their car..

Cops came, we exchanged insurance info, and now are at the whims of the insurance companies.

Is there any professional in town that has experience in this type of issue? Is there anything I can do to prove I’m not at fault?
