Low level manager let slip that standards will continue to go up until the majority of the staff are literally unable to achieve them.
There is no “holding rate” that is acceptable to stay at consistently for this company.
The “better” your team’s OE/ rate consistently, the higher it will go- there is no respite or plateau in sight. You will be threatened if the increasing rate is not achieved.
Thought it was wild he admitted to it !
Upper level managers will just claim rate expectation increases continually come “as a surprise from corporate”.
