Jamaica help
My fiancé and I are going on our honeymoon in February of 2027, and I’ve been pretty indecisive about where to go! Based on our budget and availability, we’ve decided on Jamaica, but I keep going back and forth. We originally were thinking Dunn’s River, but now after doing some research about Montego Bay turning into a 2.0, I’m torn!
Any insight and opinions are greatly appreciated!
EDIT: more information about us: we’re planning on doing a club level room with a soaking tub on the balcony (Montego Bay seems to be nicer for that). Good food is important to us; I’ve heard the food at Dunns is great but Montego Bay is becoming a 2.0. We definitely will hang out at the beach at some point but we’re more pool people. Nightlife isn’t that important, we like to go out for a nice after dinner drink but we don’t need a party vibe. My fiancé likes to be doing things which is one of the reasons we chose Sandals due to the water sports being included. We’re 32 if that matters! The airport is where I’m split too. we’re definitely flying into Montego Bay (direct flight). Is the airplane noise anything to really worry about at Montego/Royal Caribbean (I’m sure we’ll hop over there too). I know Dunns is 90 minutes or so from the airport-how the drive? I get a little carsick on long backroads. Thanks again!
