Seeking tips for smoking Jacobs Ladder beef ribs

Hello all! I've got a 2.9kg 6-rib rack of Jacobs Ladder beef ribs lined up for a good ol' smoking on my Traeger this weekend, but it's the first time I've done this (St Louis pork ribs, yes, but not these) so was wondering if there were any hint & tips / do's & don't for turning out a belting result? All comments gratefully received!

I'm a 49 year old 87kg male getting back into running after a few years out. I used to run a lot in my younger years - 5-7km lunchtime runs 3 times a week and a 10km at the weekend - but have always overpronated so tended to wear Brooks Adrenaline GTS.

Coming back into running after about 7 years and an 8kg increase in weight, I'm trying to run 5km a couple of times a week so popped to my LRS who did a gait analysis - apparently I still overpronate - and sold me a pair of Brooks Glycerine 22s. This didn't surprise me given my accepted default setting was a need for stability shoes.

However. Ever since I've restarted running I have significant pain running down the outside of both feet (although it's more pronounced in my right foot). Doing the dangerous thing and "reading stuff on the internet" I've seen a few times mention that actually overpronation isn't a problem as long as it's not hurting, and that actually neutral shoes may be fine.

So I guess the question I have is - could my foot pain actually be caused by stability shies pushing my feet where they don't want to go, and that I just need a pair of neutral shoes to let my feet go where they want rather than be forced out when I footstrike?

Many thanks for listening, and for any advice!
