Help with not being able to boot ZorinOS 18.1 after installation

I am attempting to install ZorinOS 18.1 on a fairly old 2Tb HDD that had no operating system previously installed in it, but was very full.

I did all the normal procedure, engraved a pen-drive with the OS, booted from the pen-drive, went through the installation process, all fairly normal. After installation it told me to remove the pen-drive and press enter to restart and do the first boot and I did.

Ever since I've been stuck at this screen, no matter what I do it doesn't ever boot. I tried letting it go on all day and still nothing.

I tried doing this installation process again a couple more times, but it every time I'm hit with the same problem. I tried doing a normal installation a couple of times, tried safe graphics and still nothing. I tried the installation method that came with the Nvidia drivers pre-installed, but it was giving me an error about something called ubiquity.service and I wasn't able to quite figure out what is going on or how to fix it yet.

My secure boot and fast boot are both disabled.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there an issue with my pen-drive or is this an issue with my HDD? I am completely clueless on how to proceed from here and any help is appreciated.

I am a newbie when it comes to Linux and messing with OS and English is not my first language, so sorry if my writing is a bit confusing or lacks important details. If you need any more info, please ask away in the comments :)

Help with setting up a dual boot system on two separate hard drives

Hello, I am very much a newbie when it comes to operating systems.

Ok so, I have a 250Gb SSD and a 2Tb HDD. So far I've been running my PC for many exclusively with Windows 10 installed.

After being frustrated with the forced upgrades to Windows 11, I want to migrate to a dual boot system, with Windows installed on the SSD and ZorinOS installed on the HDD. The idea is to keep them separate to minimize issues, especially when it comes to games that require heavy anti-cheats that do not work on Linux.

I took my computer to a technician and I was told that it's not easy to do such an installation, however this technician is not very well versed in Linux, so I have come here to ask for advice on how to best do this and if this is even possible.

So my main questions are:

- Can this be done?

- How can I go about setting this up?

If more info is needed, I will complement on the comments.
