Looking for Placement Prep Study Partners + Guidance from FAANG/Product-Based Company Candidates 🚀

Hey everyone,

I’m currently preparing for placements from scratch and looking for serious study partners/group members. I’m focusing on:

  • Python
  • DSA
  • SQL
  • OOPs
  • DBMS
  • Backend/Development basics
  • Aptitude & interview prep

The main goal is to stay consistent, solve problems together, share resources, do mock interviews, and keep each other motivated throughout the placement journey.

It would also be really helpful if seniors or experienced candidates who have cracked product-based companies or FAANG-level interviews could guide us occasionally with preparation strategy, interview experience, roadmaps, and common mistakes to avoid.

Beginners who are genuinely serious about improving are welcome too. Let’s build a focused community and help each other grow 🚀

Comment or DM if interested.

Hey everyone,

I recently cleared the Infosys Off-Campus Round 1 (Virtual Assessment) and wanted to understand what to expect next, especially for the in-person assessment + technical discussion.

In Round 1, I:

  • Solved the coding problems properly
  • Passed all test cases (including edge cases)
  • Made sure my logic was clean and optimized (as much as I could under time pressure)

Now I’m preparing for Round 2 and had a few doubts:

🔹 What level of difficulty should I expect next?

  • Will the coding problems be harder than Round 1?
  • Are they more focused on optimization or new concepts?

🔹 Do they ask questions from our Round 1 solutions?

  • Will they ask me to explain the exact code I wrote?
  • Do they expect deep understanding (like time/space complexity, alternatives, edge cases)?

🔹 Technical Discussion

  • Is it mostly based on my submitted code?
  • Or do they ask completely new DSA questions as well?

🔹 Evaluation Criteria

  • How much weight is given to:
    • Explanation vs coding?
    • Optimization vs correctness?

If anyone has recently gone through this process (especially 2025/2026), please share your experience 🙏

Would really appreciate any insights on:

  • Actual difficulty level
  • Types of questions asked
  • What helped you get selected (SP/DSE)

Thanks in advance!
