Hello!

I have had 'regular' canaries in the past but it has been almost a decade.

I was talking about the new cages they have the other day and I would live a canary again but not looking forward to seed everywhere.

Then my husband surprises me today with a canary. Not just a canary but this strange fellow that has a wig. Lol

A monk canary.

The cage he got was recommended by the shop clerk. I think the perches are to big? And should the perches be on eachbside with a little swing in the middle so he has space to flutter?

Is there anything I should know about monk canaries?

Are they loners too?

texture is soft not bumpy..not rocky bumpy of that matters

I put peel and stick wallpaper up and it all fell to the ground. I ordered more thinking I may not have prepped it well enough but the manufacturer is saying it is likely from the texture (pucture attached). I saw a product called easy hang and I saw a video.with double stick tape...

Has anyone been successful on a textured wall? Am I just wasting money?
