Failed G at Simcoe and so upset
Honestly just want to vent. Just did my G test on a Thursday at noon. The examiner was a small skinny eastern European lady. I was a little worried that I made some mistakes because she commented a bit on my speed. But apparently everything went well, but it was that last intersection before the test center where the speed goes from 80km to 60km. I saw the 60 sign, but released the gas and slowed down. I didn’t want to brake too hard to slow down to 60km because it’s such a huge jump from 80 to 60. At the end she told me that I was going 72, even though I had still slowed to 60 at the intersection. I guess I just didn’t slow down soon enough, but that would be braking pretty hard to slow so suddenly from 80 to 60km. My instructor was frustrated and thinks she just made a bad call and it was poor judgment on her side because i was still being very safe and smoothly slowing down.
Idk I’m so frustrated. Went from Burlington to Simcoe for the test. I’m in my early 30s and have put this off for a while, my license expires in July and I just wanted to finally get this done. I just feel like a bad driver for failing in simcoe of all places and it makes me feel less confident even though apparently everything else went well. Ughhh.
