Hi! Need your thoughts lang regarding my application.

I applied for an ASE position and already passed the assessments and HR interview. Last July 30, the recruiter informed me that I was still under the profiling process and that they were waiting for the confirmed start dates for the end of August or September.

After that, I checked my Workday and saw that my application status changed to “No Longer Under Consideration (NLUC).” I didn’t receive any rejection email or any update saying that my application was no longer moving forward.

I tried contacting my previous recruiter to ask for clarification, but I haven’t received any reply. So I decided to visit the site personally to follow up. At the front desk, I was told that the status showing on their end was “Another Candidate Preferred.”

However, today I received an email saying that I had already been endorsed to the next recruiter who will be handling my profile for this application. They also mentioned that they are still waiting for the list of projects for the role and their start dates, and that once they have the list, they will reach out for profiling based on the demands.

Now I’m really confused about my actual application status. 😭

Has anyone experienced something similar? Does “Another Candidate Preferred” or NLUC mean that I’m already rejected, even though I was endorsed to another recruiter and was told that they’re still waiting for project/start-date information?

Should I just wait for the next recruiter to contact me, or should I follow up again?

Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I recently went to Gateway Cubao to follow up on my application process. I successfully passed the two Mettl assessments and the HR interview.

The recruiter informed me that he will email me once the company decides which role under ASE is suitable for me and when my possible start date will be.

Since I came from the province, I was also asked to take two additional exams in advance in case I would need to undergo further assessments, so my scores would already be available.

I would also like to ask if passing the assessments and HR interview already guarantees a job offer, or if there are still additional steps before the final offer.
