I'm stuck in debt. I don't know what to do.
It's been two years since I came to the UK. I came on a spouse visa. I did £7,000 in debt for spouse visa . There were costs for moving to a new house, carpets, and laminate flooring. We had to buy all the furniture from scratch. On top of that, my wife had salary cuts during the last three months of her maternity leave. Those salary cuts were the reason for my downfall. I borrowed £3,000 from Lendable, with a £4,200 repayable loan. I don't know how they gave it to me; I had just moved to the country. I've been working full-time for about 18 months. That loan has defaulted. I have £1,900 left in total debt. And we had taken out a loan in my mother's name in my country for visa expenses. Everything has fallen apart. Yesterday was payday, but I had no money left. My wife returned to work about two months ago, her payday is the 27th. We have no money left until her payday. SHe doesn't know. Until then, I'm trying to find at least £500 for my son's nursery fees and our upcoming grocery shopping. But no bank or credit company will give me even £100. I don't know what to do. Please, I'm looking for help or advice.
