I dont hate my Dog Ear

I have a small dog ear on one side, my doctor tried talking me into getting it correct but if im being honest, I don't hate it, i feel like it blends in just fine. Im 5wpo.

Offically 4WPO

Officially 4WPO and I am so pleased with the results! I had my surgery on June 17th and have been striving my step goals to be about 12k daily since day 6. Absolutely amazed at the human body and the recovery process.

3WPO positive post

I've been seeing alot of nervous/ uncertainty post about recovery. I know most posts are daunting here as people come for advice or clarity on their procedure.

I went to a small town plastic surgeon that is not famous or known for this procedure and had fantastic results.

I've had a smooth recovery, I've been walking 12,000 steps since day 6 with no issue. I got my drain out day 7.
I stopped narcotics after the first day and did not take Tylenol or any other medication after. The only real discomfort I felt was the drain but it was manageable.

Im currently 3WPO and I feel fantastic. Swelling has gone down drastically.

I just wanted to share a positive recovery story for all those out there that are stressed or scared. This is not the case for all recovery but this was mine.

10 DPO

Currently 10 DPO from TT, MR and LIPO. The results are slowly starting to settle in. I had my drains removed 7DPO and have been walking 12k steps daily since 6DPO. I weighed 130lb pre sugery but haven't weighed myself again since I know the weight fluctuations is a temporary result if the surgery.

The bloating is killing me, I know it's another result of the sugery but not fitting pre op clothing is so discouraging. Im hoping within the next few days it will settle down a bit.

Im getting my stiches out my belly button this week, so excited and nervous for that but it's another mile stone to clear!

Officially 7DPO

I'm fortunate to have a easy recovery, my only complain would be the drainage irritation. Im officially 7 DPO and got the drain out today :)

The belly button stiches will come out next week but so far I am so excited for these results.

3 days post op and this is my FULL breakdown.

Hi guys! Im 3 days post op and I feel amazing.

I stopped narcotics yesterday and Tylenol today.

Height: 5'2 and 130LB Age: 31 and had 2 kids. Procedure: Abdominalplasty with Lipo, and Muscle Repair cost a total of $11,400 including Experal and binder. Location: South Alabama I prepped about 1 month before my surgery

My doctor reccomended me to start

  • Throne Multi vitamin and vitamin C a month prior. -About a week prior I started Bromalin. -3 days prior I started Miralax and Stool softener. I had a BM on my second day, no pain.

Reccomended but not needed was

  • Shower wipes
  • Second pair of compression socks
  • drainage bag that can clip around your waist
  • Wedge pillow, not necessarily and honestly was horrible to sleep on but it got the job done.

Strict diet

I began my strict diet of limited sodium and sugar intake about a week prior to surgery and im continuing after.

I did the math to see the optiomal protein and fiber intake I needed and I did the same for sodium and sugar.

Day 1: was good, I didnt experience much pain. Went home and slept pretty well. 3/10

Day 2: was hell. No pain wise but uncomfortable wise. The pain has been manageable in total but not being able to lay comfortably or breathe was terrifying. 5/10

Day 3: I felt so much better. The burning sensation went down drastically, i walked a total of 1200 steps today ans was able to get out of bed without help. The drain is irritating me so much even with the bag. I managed to shower and I felt like my insides were gonna fall out. I took a peak at the mirror and was happy but not content with my results but I have to remind myself that it has only been a few days. 3/10 I haven't been able to stay awake much since the surgery even without medication but the rest is well needed for this recovery.

Before and after- 1 day PO

One day post off before and after.

Obviously not expected to see full results yet but a bit content.

Feeling extremely tight but manageable. There is a burning sensation but I used ice packs on my stomach to help distract its working so far.

Currently off narcotics (day3) and only on Tylenol.

I did it!!!

Yall, I did it 7 hours ago!

Im extremely sore as expected. Pain is extremely manageable, i took Tylenol extra strength when I got home a few hours ago but no narcotics yet. I was nauseous which was the worse part of all but I took some medication for that which helped a bit but not much. I have to return tomorrow tho due to some bruising but my doctor didn't seem too worried, just want to make sure.

Im glad to be here :)

TOMORROW IS THE DAY

Tomorrow morning is THE DAY, im getting TT, MR and Lipo 360. I know i will be fine, because of this subreddit my anxiety isn't in full panic mode like it usually is with this kind of topic.

I've never had sedated surgery, only 2 C Sections so the thought of going under is absolutely terrifying. I just have to remind myself that all I have to do is go to sleep and then wake up new.

Hoping to update everyone tomorrow or in a few days.

See yall on the other side on the road to a long and tedius recovery🫡

Basic pre-screening email

Hi guys,

I had two different recuriter for two different position and location reach out for the typical and standard screening questions, location, salary expect, start date, etc.

One recruiter said "answers have been registered thanks" and then other did not reply. It has been about 2 days since. Is this good or bad? Im confused to how long it takes for them to reach back out to schedule an interview, if they will.

Rough market

I have a decent job current but I am burnt out by the management so I decided to apply around a bit.

After 10 interviews, currently awaiting 6 answers and about 150 applications later, this is pretty exhausting.

I was flown out for one interview, after 3 virtual ones just to not get the job and burn PTO. If the other interviews go well I'd be required to fly out for those too, at this point my PTO is about to be dedicated to interviews alone.

Props to everyone in this job market.

What is on my shrimp?

This red dot just popped up on her today, unsure what it is and if I need to treat it. All other shrimps seem to be fine and unblemished.
