I made my first purchase of reta and chose a pre-filled syringe pen because (a) I’m a newbie and unsure about reconstituting it myself with water, and (b) convenience.
The pen arrived today and has been shipped in the regular mail in a simple cardboard box. In other words, it hasn’t been kept refrigerated. It’s clearly marked on the box that the pen should be stored at 2-8 degrees. At the most optimistic, assuming it was stored in a fridge by the shipper, it’s been out of that environment for at least 48 hours.
My questions are - is this product now useless? Worse, is it unsafe? And has anyone else had this experience with ready-to-use pens? Thanks!
