So my husband and I woke up this morning to get ready for work and he went to put his boot on and yells "babe your crabs in my boot" lol. Kinda funny actually it was funny but Im trying to figure out how he escaped. Because the lid is most definitely secured with locks and heavy things on top to make sure. But I noticed him missing a week ago and thought that he had gone down to molt. Well, boy was I wrong. I feel awful for him though. He hasn't ate or drank in a week that I know of. When I put him back in he popped out his shell instantly like thank God im home and started walking around. Should i be worried or is there anything i need to do special for him since he hasnt had fluids or food in a week. My poor Nugget!

Do i need to have green sand and worm casting in the tank at all times?

One of my crabs came up from molting finally and looks so happy and healthy. But he is acting skiddish. I have another one that is a mommas boy and follows me everywhere I go in the tank. And last night when she came up from her molt she was looking in the shell shop and the other one was climbing the branches like always like he was stalking her and then he came down and put her on her back and wouldn't let her go. What do i do about that. I instantly opened the lid and separated them and gave them both shells and then the aggressor buried himself. Weird.

Hi I have to move in an emergency and need to rehome 5 crabs. Purple pinchers. Some are large some are medium. I have twonE's too if you prefer them. Id rather keep my purple picjers together. But 5 have to go. It will be next week. Im.located in VA.

I have to move like now. I cant take my aquariuam with me so what can I do to use as a temporary setup until my new aquariuam gets there. I have to take the basic essentials with me when I go im leaving so much behind it's killing me. But im not leaving them. Can I use one of those 113qt or bigger Tupperware containers with locking lids what can I do. Its an relationship abusive issue where he has threaten me and my pets so my family has told me to play it cool and im slowly sneaking things over little by little and the last thing im taking is them when I go for good. But please I dont know what to do i dont want nothing bad to happen to them. How do I heat it. Keep humidity and temp right. I know I can add decor bit this night be a stupid question but will suction cups stick it it? Im a nervous wreck any and all help is appreciated.

I have 5 molting crabs and I have a ant infestation that came out of nowhere that showed up everywhere in my house.All of a sudden, what do I do?I've set up emergency tanks for the ones that are already above ground.But what do I do to keep the ones that are underground alive?I'm changing the substrate.I'm cleaning the tank.I'm bowling.All items

I went to remove their leftover food this morning and pick up their shells and put them back in their shell catty like always cause they like to knock them out and when I pick the shells up, like 50 ants went crawling up my arm, what do I do? And how do I fix a problem? I'm freaking out.I don't want any ants on my babies.
