Fibroid, Doppler Notching, Placenta Previa at 12 weeks. Need reassurance.
I just went to my 12-week NT Scan. Baby looks good but they found a large fibroid in my uterus along with Placenta Previa and the uterine artery dopplers performed shows notching. At the appointment, I was not ready to receive all of this information so I had no idea what to ask about in detail. My MFM doctor put me on pelvic rest and modified activity. She said it's fine to workout but decrease intensity by half. Also advised that I take aspirin for the notching. They told me not to worry too much about any of this as it can improve, but I'm spiraling…not only of the increased risks but because I basically have to give up half my workouts. Prior to this news I had continued my pre-pregnancy workout split of 3 leg days, 2 upper body and 1 long cardio session, along with daily walks. Has anyone been through any of this? I can't help but worry about a preterm delivery, preeclampsia and all the other risks. I really want to deliver naturally and can't believe any of this is happening.
