Hi! I’m relocating cross-country to Portland between mid-July and early August for medical treatments and need a furnished short-term space. Because my treatments will severely impact my immune system, I am looking for a legitimate, safe setup.
Where: Ideally within walking distance of Tabor Bread on SE Belmont (Sunnyside), or anywhere East Side with a straightforward commute to Corbett.
Budget: $1.6k–$2k.
Essential Needs: A private space with a kitchen setup (min. fridge/hot plate), laundry access, and a strictly fragrance-free / low-mold / quiet environment.
Profile: 50s, quiet, clean, queer, non-smoker, no pets. Licensed acupuncturist & practicing Daoist working online while completing a remote doctoral program.
I’ve already checked Zillow, Furnished Finder, Airbnb, and Blueground, but I am finding it tough to verify what is legitimate from afar (and Arrive Portland did not respond).
