Hello! Later this year, I will be traveling India for a few months. I am diagnosed with celiac disease am have to strictly stay away from gluten/wheat or else it can take me down for weeks at a time in certain cases.

Typically, while traveling, I tend to mostly rely on grocery store food, such as prepackaged meats or fruits, etc.

I plan on flying into New Delhi and checking out Rishikesh, Varanasi, and a hand full of other locations. I plan on heading up to Nepal to explore as well at some point.

Has anybody else with celiac done this? Are stores / fruits easily accessible or is this silly? I’ve never been to India before.
