What should I do?
Normally I'm pretty good at figuring this stuff out myself, but I need some help.
I got a roommate just a couple months ago, he was living in a bad place before, and he's a genuinely good guy, quiet, clean, all around respectful, however, paying rent is a problem, when he moved in, he didn't have a lot of money and had to pay rent in two separate payments, he paid it before the end of the month, and then when it came time to pay the next month, he couldn't pay the full amount, and I haven't even made him pay the damage deposit yet, and it seems like he hasn't been working, so I'm worried he won't be able to pay the next month's rent in full again, or if he will be able to pay back what he already owes, and now I'm wondering if I should move out and get my own place, but I don't want to be a dick and leave him with a place I know he can't afford, but I also can't keep covering for him, but it's still only the second month he's lived here for, and I've talked to him about making sure he pays me back and pays his rent on time and in full, but I'm not sure if he's going to or if he thinks I'll just keep letting it slide. So should I talk to him again, or wait and see if it continues, or just go ahead and give my notice to the property manager and move out? I just don't want to be a dick since he's been good about every single thing except for the rent.
