Does anyone know what to do if my tabs keep on closing themselves in chrome? (on android tablet)

I have around 5 tabs open with around idk 4 webpages in each or a bit more and i have them saved bc those are pages i use a lot. But recently my tabs randomly disappeared and i had to restore them from my " recent tabs"menu and then reorganise them- does anyone know what to do- im have arleady turned of the setting that puts them in inactive mode but that isnt the case. Please help if anyone know show to 🥹
