Why do people recommend stewmac or 100 dollar tools to normal people?

This is so common on yt or even here, I understand if someone is a luthier and has to do a lot of guitars. But recommending 250 worth of tools to people with 500 dollar setups seems bad

Is there something I don’t understand, can you not spot level without messing up with a sharpie and sandpaper if you do it carefully and check frequently?

I got this, can I use it to crown frets or is it for fret ends alone?

The title for the listing says for fret ends but some photos seem to be doing crowning on acoustics idk I’m a beginner

What does a good setup feel like?

I am kinda struggling with setting up my guitar. So far the setup I have (in attempts of getting a low action) is nice on the lower to mid frets but starts slightly muting and buzzing 15th fret and above when picked with force, is that normal?

I do not have experience with other electric or well setup guitars so it’s hard to judge

Some buzzing should be eliminated by spot leveling some high frets but if not I am thinking of sanding 17 -23 rd fret. Is that stupid?

When I tighten the truss rod it seems to add buzzing on middle frets and when I loosen it it’s on higher frets when I pick strongly

I am stupid and I need help

This is an unseated fret right? But it won’t go down when I push it. What do I do? I want to superglue it
