Will Clayton/IAH to I-59 South interchange mess
Long-time resident here and would love to know the backstory on why the Will Clayton-to-59 South interchange has never been made more efficient. There’s a sweeping right turn lane to the feeder that avoids the intersection but also completely misses the freeway entrance (so basically useless), forcing IAH exiting traffic to sit through a red light to turn right.
I don’t recall it always being this way, but even if it was, why hasn’t it been fixed to allow more efficient exit? It’s maddening.
