Old Apple ID which is my current email and full name has been hacked Apple told me I’m screwed.
Old Apple ID which is my current email and full name has been compromised and I keep getting updates about them changing billing information. Called Apple twice about this even to see if they would escalate to at least delete the account or if I could submit identification documents to verify it’s my account but was told if the trust phone number was changed there’s nothing that can be done. I had gotten two separate emails about the number being changed and both times followed the “wasn’t me” prompt and left it alone. I no longer have any devices with my Apple ID signed in as the last phone I had I wiped before trading into Verizon. I guess my question is do they have access to prior Apple Pay information cloud photos essentially all the stuff on my prior device? And also why would apple not have a process to correctly verify a persons identity? I wish they would just allow me to delete the account.
