Has anyone been able to long term sub while student teaching? The district/campus I was placed in for early clinicals is where I also sub at. I’m their go to sub and they have a teacher going on maternity leave in the spring. They have already asked me if I would be willing to take the long term sub position. It would be right before state testing so I would finish getting the kids ready for the test and I am truly humbled my name was at the very top of the list of people to consider to help the kids be successful and ready for their test. Has anyone worked out a situation with WGU to be able to long term sub while student teaching? Like had an instructional coach be the mentor teacher? The district is unfortunately non collaborative.
