Need a little help regarding dynamax battles

So I got back into playing Pokemon go after like 3 years and all this info about dynamax battles is slightly overwhelming.
I have got the majority of mechanics down but don't know what to do to get higher tier mons.
These are all that I have, so I'd be really thankful if someone told me what exactly can I do with these guys.
Also Hatenna is a hundo. So Ralts vs Hatenna, who should I use more in the future?
