Need help identifying species
I was working DoorDash today and came back to my car with this gorgeous gal on my window screen! I took some pics and then picked her up and set her down on the ground near some trees and soil!
Now for ID! I live in Florida, USA. These photos were taken in Bradenton while I was doordashing! I think she may be a type of fire ant but idk! If anyone can help that would be wonderful! It was about to rain as well which I know is prime mating time for ants!

I’m planning on taking a weekend kinda trip to Miami. I live near Sarasota and have been to Ft. myers before but never Miami. What are some fun things to do that are nerdy/geeky? I’m big into War museums, model kits (Gundam included), collectibles, comics, arcades, comic/manga shops, anime shops, etc. I haven’t gotten a time period yet, but I’m thinking maybe July or September. I also saw that Raccoon island is out there but idk how I feel about just like going to an island to just feed them. I kinda feel bad by doing that since I’m a huge animal lover, but idk. Thanks so much for any input. I am super appreciative and thankful!
