Restarted my account 3 weeks ago and building a Rainbow Team as my first meta-ish team.

My current setup is:

Xerc/Isla

Lynette EX/Klins

Cyrus/Aviette

Flex DPS/Rinyuu EX

I've been using Levina as my flex DPS since I happened to get her on the memory banner. My eventual plan is to replace Klins, Cyrus and her with better people once I pull them.

The Kazan banner tomorrow I think is the first banner I'll have available since starting my account to pity Osvald. Does that seem worth it or would it be better to wait for Anniversary/FF6 collab stuff? I see Kazan himself isn't that worth it as a pull target (although with Levina maybe I have some synergy to eventually also build a wind team or something).

I was trying to save for Seltzer, Relm and maybe Edgar. Trying not to waste what's left of my new account gems, I have like 9k-ish and probably towards the end of my free gem spike after getting to near the endgames of Solistia, Bestowers and Emberflame. My plan is kinda to just finish off one very solid team and then probably horde gems for a while 😂.

I am mostly F2P but I might spend like $50 around the anniversary or something if there is some great deal and I'm still enjoying the game a month or two out.

Restarted a new account 20 days ago after playing from launch for 2 years and taking a long break. Trying to build the best rainbow meta team I can with all the new account resources.

I have about 15k gems left.

My current core team is an A0AU Aviette, Xerc, Lynette Ex, Cyrus, Rinyuu EX.

It sounds like I should save for Seltzer and Relm in particular for the FF6 collab (maybe getting Edgar too).

It sounds like Osvald won't return for a while.

Is there any other past units that would be worth sparking in the near future that would bring value towards the goal of a good rainbow team? Trying to deduce if it would be worth going to pity for some past character on the Aviete banner and maybe getting some random usable additional 5 stars on the way, since this is a brand new account.

In regards to non-rainbow team units I've pulled, I only have the new fan Levina EX and Sazantos. All my remaining 5 stars are launch characters that I recognize or the free arena ones. So basically all trash.

New account, I played the game from launch to around the Nier/Brave collabs then quit for 3 years. Restarted this month, unfortunately lost my entire old account because I was not aware of the server transfer.

My plan until this morning was to hit max pity on the Aviete banner, hope to pull some new meta 5 stars, and spark one of these essential rainbow team units I keep hearing about like Shana or Xerc.

However I got super lucky and pulled one copy of Aviete in my first 20 pulls, so now deciding what I should do so I don't waste gems as F2P. Should I just be holding a month for FF6 collab? Switch to the Lynette EX banner for a rainbow team? Chase awaking stones for Aviete and spark Shana or Xerc? Wait a week or two for some new overpowered Oct0 character to drop? What would add the most value to my account if I have like 10k free gems to get my account started because I know it’s complete trash right now haha.

For reference, I have basically taken zero gem pulls since restarting the account last week. I got a free Levina EX (the fan one) and Rinyuu EX off of some random free pulls, but the rest of my account is all outdated general pool 5 stars. I'm using Viola/Cyrus/Primrose as temporary fill ins as I grind general content, but eventually want to have something meta for endgame stuff when I get there. Appreciate any advice.
