Hair standing on end when outside = lightning

I don’t trust google’s AI search results (which say it’s a definite correlation every time) so I’m coming here — I’ve had this happen to me TWICE around the same spot on humid summer days. The first time there was a storm, so I ran back inside. This time, the nearest storm is 80+ miles away.

Is this always an indication of a potential lightning strike? Even with storms that far away? For reference, I am on an outside porch with a metal gazebo when this happens

Umbrella accident at NMB beach today

Anyone able to find any more info on the beach umbrella accident in NMB today? Wind kicked up and ripped three umbrellas out of the ground, created a sand vortex, and threw everything from shoes to infant strollers everywhere. Clearly injured a few people, unfortunately. We helped fish the umbrellas out of the ocean. Cant find any info locally to see if everyone was alright and so I’m turning to here
