Is there any senior from gehu bhimtal I want a honest opinion on on-campus placements and how's the other things hostel,faculty,mess, sport's

I want to buy a laptop for my college I'm pursuing BTech cse core and I'm in 1st year I have two options and I'm pretty confused between 2 laptops

1. HP omen Ryzen 7 octa core rtx 5050 24 gb ram/1tb SSD

2. Macbook Air m5 24 gb/1tb varient

Actually I researched all over the internet and my take on macbook but it has privacy concerns and some college website that only run on windows

And it has Great battery life and portability

On the other hand hp omen has only 3 hours battery backup and it's weight is almost 4 kg with its charger combine and i have to take everywhere which is very frustrating or gaming laptops reality know by everyone.

And I'm not big fan of apple products but windows has More cons then mac
